dalpo Kind of mellow and somewhat understated, this album demonstrates the band's potential quite well. I kind of see it as a sampler for the main courses yet to come. It's just full of short, but damn solid songs; to the point that it's over before you know it, and I'm left wanting more Favorite track: Most the Year.

Played Two 02:37
well i played to it too in the garden, way, way down and i played to it too on the pavement, i was dumb, and it was dumb but the cars all seem to go on the weekends, i’ll drop a line, and drive around and i will see i make my way all the way across the country we can go outside we can never know but i will get pulled through humid street nights, the incandecent lights are doing fine but for now, i’m going too or i’m staying out of my mind again
2.
At Least Try 02:04
i don’t want to go out so then you say “are you okay?” i dug myself straight down to the point which i’ll stay in this darkened place it’s not okay to stay so low to that i’ll go they all have bloodshot eyes as if it has been days we were walking foreign roads when you said, “i’m so glad that you came”
3.
Poland 02:56
we can just blame it on how i get up late it was just so late taken then outside couldn’t find the words that would let me say it maybe then i’m in need of a walk to blow the steam right off but do you feel yourself? or am i just behind all those seven dime complexions and rusty cages i never liked looking at them at all, just like empty pipe dreams residing down the hall it’s not like i tried to wake up late theres no single blame taken then outside to a wonderful day and what a beautiful morning maybe then i’m in need of some time to leave some things behind but do you feel yourself?

For a While 03:04
he said “it’s time that we’ve spent, nearly wasting” while keeping hands inside of pockets, walking thru the grass that’s bound to go and grow again, when looking down but i’m feeling condemned, you know what i’m saying was a look that rivaled cavernous explosions, for a while that twisted face said “who are you? it’s way too late.” why did you lie? why did you lie about it, my dear? why did you lie? why did you lie about it, my friend til the end? they put love in your hands, can’t you see? it’s so relatable shes been going to the diner, lately his bin of winter clothes was growing, slowly, for a while you got to see a clear shot, down the corridor
5.
Off Orange 02:34
wait a minute don’t say a thing i won’t over-say it or leave notes on the door this is momentary bliss it is words on the window it’s what we have been practicing for wont you say what you mean before we have to say goodbye on saturday i’ll just lie and wait for that off orange sky hid in cupboards we won’t play to win it’s for consolation and the scenes shown before but this is growing far too thin i believe that you know that it will be coming around again
6.
Marquee 02:49
perpetual motion took some time away from the marquee shining lights, telling lies i never once made it out unscathed i never once made it out okay oh i could tell good lies meet me in the middle “weekdays went slower towards the end,“ said a friend while we were walking through water waist high i was reminded of lives past lived he said “i don’t even think i knew them at all”
7.
No Way 02:11
last week, tuesday night i said “no way i’m going out there” this feels like one big bad dream something sets it off i never knew why we were like that then feeling a shift in the things we see i do not know where we choose to stay or why it seemed that way like a looking out for something different im not standoffish you should go and stop making it up feeling like i'm running out of time last week, wednesday night you were saying things you don’t believe feeling a shift in the things we need i could not say where we wanna stay or what made you feel that way or any other questions you may have

Way Out 03:13
i hold it all it was my cross to bear so i bear it a lot and i took it all i was on the run never looked back once and i held it all fell right outta my pocket and went for a walk so i hold it all on my shoulders, walking now your looking right thru everbody called it lovely, a waste of purgatory he called it off in the light of the day in the midst of a lot i swear i saw something calling you back something reached for your arm feeling real tall you could walk up above you could see out that far do you stand up tall? on my shoulders, walking

in time i’ll know you got it to, i got it to stay around, came around anytime you can see i will get caught up most of the time for the night went over the wall never made it back made it most the night made it most the year second chance, not again i’d rather get lost than have a friend for the night coming down, staying down it took seven years to know this town for the night
